The Dylan Thomas Experience

“To begin at the beginning……………
…….poet, playwright, broadcaster, scriptwriter and storyteller, in his short life Dylan Thomas was all of these and much, much more.
Dylan Thomas was born in Swansea in 1914 and died in New York in 1953, a short life but a full life. At the time of his death he was arguably the best known poet in the English speaking world and, after Shakespeare, he remains probably the most quoted writer in the English language. Now, almost 60 years since his untimely death his reputation as an artist of genius remains unshaken.
Join us on a tour of Swansea, Dylan’s seaside town, now a city, and visit the house where he was born, and the streets, parks and pubs that shaped his writing.
Visit Carmarthenshire and the boat house in Laugharne where he spent some of his most enjoyable and creative times.
We can structure tours for the Dylan scholar or for the aficionado, and for those who simply want to learn more about the man, and his extraordinary life, in what is a beautiful part of the world.
We hope you enjoy the rest of our web site and we look forward to hearing from you and to welcoming you to Wales.
